Re: How do I set up a RowChangedEvent in a Typed DataSet

It is very simple.

I submit that given the number of people who make this mistake (and it's
not just here in this group) that it's NOT that "simple". Whether users
are accessing these groups via newsreaders or via web forums, the plain
fact is that this information is not being disclosed to them upfront.
There is nothing to tell them that they should search for dotnet or
adonet or aspnet, etc. IMO that is Microsoft's fault, not the users'.
And especially with their forums, it would be so easy for MS to prevent
users from making this mistake (less simple with newsreader client -
they could start with using the Description field instead of leaving it
blank, but not all newsreaders expose the Description field)

"I am sick and tired of clueless .NET programmers ..."

I am failing to understand why you take this so personally. :-) is it
because the technology which you've spent a lot of time and effort to
become proficient in is becoming passe? I can understand that: I have
the same feelings. And, yes, it is sometimes all too easy to be tempted
to take these frustrations out on the users (believe me, I'm no saint -
I have had my meltdown moments in usenet posts that I wish I could take
back). That is why I use the canned reply I saved. It's a matter of
seconds to paste that into a reply, so it's not like it's taking up a
large part of my day. And I have the satisfaction that users feel helped
by the reply, rather than beaten on.
