Tank for you answer.
I understand that I can't use jet with 64 bits build.
Just one more question: do you know if Microsoft will develop a 64 bit jet
drivers? if yes when can you expect have it? if no what solution for read
mdb data file with a 64 bit build software?

Thank.

To add to the pile and confusion, as you may know, there is also a new file
format released with MSAccess 2007 - the ACCDB that has its own new engine.
It is now called the "Access Database Engine" - but it is little more than a
'new Jet' (ISAM and all <g>). Apparently this new Jet will be working on
64-bit platforms.

The interface to the ADE is supposed to be ADO.Net and not OLE DB. But some
blogs seem to be hinting that OLE DB will still be supported.

Also "Jet" development has been removed from the SQL Server team and is now
under the Office/MSAccess team. Which really contributes to the FUD.
SQLServer and dotNot language groups swear that OLE DB and Access is DEAD!
Office groups seem to be saying - "Not so fast there, Shorty"! <g>
