Hi Walter,
Alas I searched high and lo on the web for the Ep, most I got is something likes
Extended Properties=""text;HDR=Yes;FMT=Delimited"""
and the closest I found is from this link: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa140022(office.10).aspx#adoproperties_extendedsettings
but none is what I wants.

If you need to specify default properties for all tables (files), you can try the "Extended Properties" in the connection string. Search around and you should see some examples on the specific properties in this "Extended Properties".
