Re: MDAC Converting Dataset to XML

Excuse me? The original post said nothing about the data changing. all
it said was " ... but no longer when doing PersistXML"

The following code is in Delphi and has worked fine for years (well 3
to be precise):

<snip>
Its basically a scaled down segment to "prove" the issue, but if the
pfXML (persistXML) option is used then the resultant XML contains
"0"s instead of "10" or "20" etc.
I don't do delphi, so you are going to need to either post this to a
Delphi forum somewhere, or go to greater lengths to get me to understand
the failure mode here. Show me a little bit of the XML that is generated
when it works correctly vs what you get when it is not working
correctly. I will need to see the metadata section (the <s:Schema
id="RowsetSchema"> element - the failure may depend on the datatype) and
one of the rows from the <rs:data> element
PS. This will give us the ability to send a repro to MS
