I'm experiencing a strange error and suspect it mught come from ADO.
Just a guess on your part?
When I'm
running long operation I'm getting the following error message
"Error reading table XXX: ROW-00001: Cannot allocate memory"
The coputer has 1 GB of memory, so it's not an issue with gloval memory.
Perhaps some sort of ADO memory pool gets exhausted.
Perhaps. Could you mention these things in your next message:
MDAC version installed
Database you are working with (version number & any service packs applied)
Which provider you are specifying in your connection.
Language you are using : C++, VB, VBScript etc.
Also, are you are releasing ADO resources correctly?
Closing Recordsets, setting Connection, Command, Recordset objects back to
NULL or Nothing?
