I am unable to install MDAC 2.8 SP1. Shortly after I start the
install program, I get "setup could not complete". Below is the
dasetup.log file, which show there is an "Access is denied" problem.
Do you have any ideas why it won't install? Thanks for your help!

You did not mention version of Windows. But it is Windows 2000 Professional,
SP4, yes?
Do you have administrator rights?
