This is for pre .NET ADO, classic ADO, nothing to do with .NET
development
at all.
Why not ask in one of the

microsoft.public.dotnet.*

newsgroups? In this case, I think you want
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.datagridcontrol which is
devoted just to grid problems
