I have to laugh cause it's just totally dumb luck that my suggestion turned
out to be the solution!
The others (and yourself) are obviously way beyond me in knowlege it just
happened that I had to reinstall vb (and all other progs) several times
recently due to replacing hard drives and os's a couple times so mdac was
one of those things i got used to having to reinstall...
:-)

as far as dinner or drugs go...heck i'm trying to quit <vbg>
but hey...not to look a gift horse in the mouth....
I do have some really basic db questions I haven't gotten any responses to
in past posts (i'm working on learning how to create my first db for a
really simple project - simple for someone who knows databases that is)
....so if yer game fer a little q-n-a ...i could repost...
