Well I am not surprised.
DataGrids are not part of ADO and this is an ADO newsgroup.
And not this is for classic ADO, not ADO.NET.
If you have problems with ADO.NET, you should be posting to
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.adonet

Question: If I download version MDAC or Jet Provider will you find the
DataGrid is part of it?
Answer: No

> Which other newsgroup do you suggest I ask?

Well one where DataGrid is on topic.
How about
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.datagridcontrol ???

You might want to browse previous messages using Google Groups (click on
Advanced to do so) , see if anyone has posted a message to this newsgroup
with your problems before. That is what I would do with your problems, and I
am certain I would be making progress.
