RE: mdac 9.0 and VB6

MDAC 9.0 has been cancelled. Since MDAC ships with the WIndows OS now,
there are many versions of MDAC floating around. (Windows 2000 has MDAC
2.5, Windows XP has MDAC 2.7, Windows 2003 has MDAC 2.8, etc...)

To get around this issue, the new plan is to:
1) leave MDAC the way it is, and
2) combine the SQLOLEDB, SQLODBC, and ODBC-BCP drivers into 1 new driver
for SQL 9.0 called "SQLNCLI.DLL" (abbreviated from SQL Native Client).

This new driver will co-exist with existing MDAC drivers, and each can be
called separately.

I will try to get a VB expert to respond to how well this driver will work
with VB6.
