Thanks for your detailed explanation. Yes, I have reproduced that on my
machine with linked server.

Based on my research, this is a known issue. Would you please try to
specify both precision and scale for the number column instead of only one
value. This might be the only solution on this issue, because Oracle
handles Numeric columns differently from other databases. You can check the
