ADO and Jet creates error on XP Home Edition SP2

I'm seeing what looks like an XP SP2 issue - strangely, the XP Home SP2
client can connect to and read from an Access database (using VB6 and
ADO, with the Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider) on a XP Pro SP1 box,
but attempts to write blow up with the dreaded "<application> has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience" message. NTFS/Share permissions don't seem to be the
problem.

Has anyone seen this as a result of an ADO/SP2 issue?

Also, I was wondering if Garry Grolman has made available the MDAC/Jet
utilities referenced in a post to a topic with this same name (at
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.data.ado/browse_...).

Thanks...
