I have a classic ASP script that queries a Sharepoint 2001 datastore (wss)
and it has worked fine for the past two years. We recently migrated to a new
server, and the application fails on the connection.open command with the ADO
error: "Provider cannot be found".
I have installed MDAC 2.8, JET SP8 and have re-registered all of the dlls in
Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB\, but to no avail.
any ideas???
Thanks,
Duane Benson
The ASP app and Sharepoint 2001 are running on the same server and the
Sharepoint site works fine.
