DB2 CommandTimeout issue

Hello,
Since ADO version 2.0 does not support CommandTimeout property on DB2, it
causes some issue in case of table locks and results in a client thread
waiting forever. Is there any resolution for this issue in ADO specifically
for DB2?
Or, is this support added in latest version of ADO (2.8?)
