Protect an Access DB

Hello,

I have an app that writes/read data to/from an Access 2000 db.
Is there an _EFFECTIVE_ way to password protect an Access db?

So far I've been using a 20 character long password but it seems that it can
be broken only in few minutes with most tools out there.
I even found one that probably reads the password directly from the file
since it returns it instantly.

Thanks,
Andy.
