It will work, but why do you need both? To support old apps written in
Access 97?

I faced that challenge and kept a laptop to support the old version. But the
migration went so smoothly that I did not ever need it! Be sure to read the
migration white paper. Only down side of migrating DATA databases up is
they double in size. I kept my DATA dbs in Access 97 for a while, but
eventually brought them up as well.

upgrading to Access 2002. Is't possible to have both programs on same hard
drive(PC)?
