Hi,
If you upgraded to MDAC 2.8 and Component Checker shows that installation is
fine, then it should work fine as well. I do not know why Excel does not
reflect new references, but previously developed applications should work
fine even if they still have a reference to the 2.6. What kind of error
message do you get for your application?
