I update my computer with MDAC 2.8. My computer's OS is Windows XP. I
have a problem after the installation. All the file version is
correct. They start with 2.80 and Component Checker find the Version
is correctly and all the files are match. But In Excel's Visual Basic
Editor Reference List I get "Microsoft Activex Data Objects Recordset
2.6 Library" and "Microsoft ADO Ext. 2.6 for DDL and Security" . This
cause some software could not run properly. I delete the files and
reinstall MDAC 2.8 but nothing change. Please someone tell me, How can
I fix this problem? I want to upgrade this references to 2.7
