Hii All
I have a problem in reporting in .Net( or tired developments). The correct
approach in software development is to have tired layers as presentation,
Business, and Data. When we need to get information from the database we
should not directly query the database insted we should ask it from the
middle tier application components. With this in mind please someone answer
the following questions.
1
When we have set of application components, How can we use them in popular
reporting tools such as .Net Crystal ? Because Crystal needs to get data
direcly from the database, hence violating the tired isolation.
2.
I have heard about the new SQL reporting engine. Is it suitable for tired
developments ?
Thanks in advance
loku
