Hi Elric,
That totally depends on the amount of data, the amount of enquiries, how
complex it is.
When there was one best solution, there would not be any alternative.
For a static database, there is the alternative an XML datasetfile.
With a high amount of data changes MSDE will fit in my opinion very good
because it is fast. (Much faster than MS Access)
However just some thoughts of me,
