MDAC version issue

I have MDAC version 2.5 SP3 installed on my machine and several other machines.

However our build machine has MDAC 2.7 SP1 installed on it.

We have a program developed using c++ which uses c:\programfiles\commonfiles\microsoft shared\ado\msado15.dll

When I compile and link this c++ program on my machine(MDAC 2.5 sp3) and run it on my machine or several other machines, the program runs fine.

However when I compile and link this c++ program on our build machine(MDAC 2.7 sp1), this program does not run on mine(MDAC 2.5 sp3) and other machines(MDAC 2.5 sp3).

What could be the problem here?
How should I install the MDAC 2.5sp3 on the build machine?
