Hi,
Code looks fine. What I would suggest to do is to run ComponentChecker
utility, which ships with MDAC to see if MDAC is not corrupted on this PC.
If yes, then you do not have choice as to fix MDAC installation. You would
need to reinstall exact same version of MDAC in this case
