Re: 70-229 Readiness Review Suite

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi Robert

I had done a little research first including looking at the MS Press site and searching the knowledge base but could not find
what I required to find the solution.

The link you provide refers to the Admin book I am refering to the Design book, but it got me to the needed information on how to search the
knowledge base to find the information I required. Your assistance is appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

If you're referring to this book, http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/books/6799.aspx, then a little research would have turned up that page.

Now, if it is that book you're referring to, you're only a few clicks away from your answer.

So the real question you need to ask is: Who do I contact about Microsoft software product support?

It is the Official Microsoft Self Paced Training Kit (Version 2). The mention no updates on their website and not mention of the problem hence why I thought I would try this forum.

Which CD?

Which "Self paced training book"?

Which Version?

If it says IE5, that is generally a minimum. Just how OLD is the kit you bought?

My initial suggestion, go to the Vendor and check for updates.

Hi,

The practice test that comes on CD with the Self paced training book does not seem to work. I continually get script errors about object not being found or missing methods etc. No questions show up.

It says it is runs on IE 5 or higher but I am running IE 6.0 and having these problems. Do I have to run it on an older OS with IE 5 or is there something I can change on my system (XP Pro) to get it to work. Or is there a patch available somewhere ?
