Recognized certifications

Hi,
Microsoft Certifications are partly so popular because they have been
marketed so well.
Alot of people who peruse resumes don't know all the new Microsoft Cert
acronyms...
From a purely marketability perspective, do you think it would be
generally more recognizably attractive to have an MCDBA than a MCITP?
Target markets?

I noticed that there are less exams in MCITP than MCDBA...is MCITP
easier or quicker to complete?
