Does anyone know how many people have received these certs?
The word I've heard/read, John, is that the numbers are pretty low.
It's one of the reasons, allegedly, why Microsoft is pumping millions of
dollars into Partner Program Training and Certification funding -- in an
effort to significantly increase the number of partners who hold MSTS and
MCITP certifications.
It may also be that the number of certs are low because there are a limited
number of MCTs, and the MOC has been fairly sparse up until the past month.
(Much of the SQL 2005 MOC was only released at the end of May.) As a result
only the self-starters/self-studiers were the ones sitting for MSTS/MCITP
exams.
I finally stopped trying to get training and just studied my *** off.
Results:
70-431 - got a 982/1000 on 6/30/2006
70-441 - got a 983/1000 on 7/7/2006
70-443 - planning to take next week...
Congratulations!!! Those scores are very encouraging. I've been studying
everything I could get my hands on since Christmas and I'm just about to sit
down and do the same series.
