If I can take the above, read between the lines, include family values too, I'd say you're pretty much conservative in your way of thinking, a dying breed we are. Make a list of countries with a representation of conservative values, i.e. a political party at least, if not a history or culture. Not many, any in Central or South America? I think all have forms of socialism/marxism. From a USA border point of view then, surely any immigrants from Central or South America can only be expected to hold learned views/values from the home country? Anyone know why Republicans/Federal would not have dealt with the fence etc many years ago? The chances are that all such immigrants would vote [in a no ID required scenario] Dem so it'd be obvious why Dems would delay.
