JaR <jrderby@xxxxxxxxxxx> rambled:
On Tue, 11 Jul 2006 14:37:08 -0400, Briscobar cast into the ether:
So, anyone got an answer for me? Or is MySpace (and every other "most
popular" website ever listed really that much more popular than MSN?
Probly has more to do with the fact that a lot of folks have canned
IE and are useing Firefox some other browser, so they don't have the
msn home page. Look at the sekrit site's stats. less than 20% of the
hits identify as IE, as oppsed to nearly 25% Nutscrape and it's
clones. IE has lost hugely in share in recent years.
By the way, if you look at the OS stats, 76% identify as "unknown"
WTF is that?
That's all well and good, but IE still has the majority of the market share,
and I've never seen msn.com on ANY "most popular" list, even 5 years ago
before Firefox/Mozilla became really popular.
That wasn't the answer I was looking for, so my question has been upgraded
to "gripe." Thanks, JaR.
