congrats! I found 217 to be a tough exam.

The design exams are based around 4 case studies, you will still need to
know all the stuff from the implementation exam and then some, I take it you
have passed the 214? you will need most of the stuff from that and any new
    stuff in the 220 exam.

700 is a good benchmark for the passing score but it depends on the level of
the exam, if you get 4 of the easier case studies, the pass score will be
bumped up and if you get 4 of the harder case studies then the score will
    come down a bit.

Make sure you read the case study and make notes, I myself made some stupid
errors by assuming what the question was asking, also gen up on the
different styles of questions you may be asked, in brief they are as
    follows:

    1. you will get a number of headings, drag the answers to the relevent
headings (IE, you get 3 OUS and you have to drag the relevent GPOs under
each of them as per the question)

    2. You have some buttons and some connectors to drag into place, for
example you have to make a connection from a customers machine to a web
    server using firewalls etc.

Finally, not all answers are in the case study, you have to use your
knowledge to answer the questions also, but like I said before read the case
study thoroughly, it may give you some idea as to what is going on

    Regards

    Mark
