networking windows 2000 question

I just started taking the MVSE course. I want to practice
so I will network my two computers together. What windows
2000 will I need? Win 2000 server for one box and windows
2000 workstation for the other or?? I will be installing
SQL 2000 on the server box for practicce also

Please help.
