yes you are right. I attended a speed reading course in the past when I was in school. And I practice meditation for concentration and memory power. PLUS, and this is a Big Plus - I work in a Book Store.
I also found the following books very helpful. You can try them if you wish-
1.Breakthrough Rapid Reading (Paperback)
Publisher: Prentice Hall Press
ISBN: 073520019X [Very Good Book in my opinion. Improved my speed vastly.]
2.The Evelyn Wood Seven Day Speed Reading and Learning Program
Publisher: Barnes & Noble ISBN: 1566194024 [Not that good but still ok]
Thanks very much for that. after reading some reviews for the first one, i've decided to buy it. btw, i also meditate (daily) and would definitely agree w/ you that that it improves congnitive function :) for what it's worth, i also now take supplemental intake of multivitamins + minerals, Gingko and Omega 3 Fish Oil daily. suffice to say i've noticed significant improvements.
