There are different opinions about what it means to really know a language,
especially with code completion, templates and the internet. If you are
hired as a C# developer, then the end result of your daily activity must at
the very least be a functional C# application or else your employer won't
pay you anything. Some may even nickpick about the methodology you used to
arrive at the result.
