The sim enviroment is like a dumbed down version of windows itself. Only certain fields are clickable. The sims are rather easy it's the exam questions that get tricky. Have you taken the 70-270 XP exam?

I'm studying for the 290 now. From what I've read, 290 and 291 both
have interactive/simulation elements to them. I'm curious for those
folks who have taken either of these exams recently if they can
describe what the sim environments are like? the MS eLearning site has
a video preview highlighting a desktop environment, although I seem to
recall something that lead me to believe that the 'interactive'
portions more closely resemble those found in the MeasureUp practice
exams that come with the MS Press books (ie: the two-columned list box
styles). Which is it?
Also, do different sites offer different exam formats? For instance,
assuming two sites are Prometric centers, could site A have a
different testing environment than site B for the same exam? Could one
place have the Windows-style sim and the other have the MeasureUp
style?
I feel like the ones in the MeasureUp exams are difficult moreso
because they are just so damn confusing to determine what those list
boxes are trying to display. 90% I can do easily in a Windows
environment, but not under MeasureUp. I wanted to get a better
understanding of what to expect before approaching the exam.
