I'd have to say that the MS 70-431 book is very good at covering the material. If you go through it cover to cover, do all the lessons, take the included prep tests you will stand a good chance at passing. If you're going to be doing any admin work on an SQL 2005 box, I'd say that going through the lessons is well worth the time.

That said, I think that I passed because I've been using SQL 2005 on the job since May of 2005, so I do have a bit more hands on time than the average joe.
