Chris,

It's Pete again. How's it going. Good luck on the 290 man. I passed
it with like 762 or something like that, and my two colleagues also
passed it with 716 and 731, and these guys been in the field for at
least 6 years if not more.As for the 291, A friend of mine just took it
and failed with 6 something. I heard it's tough, lots of DNS, DHCP,
questions I heard. A friend of mine just took it and failed with 6
something. He said he bombed on RRAS, now from what I'm seeing the guy
seems to know his stuff, I mean combining with experience and study
material, I thought he would've passed the test with flying color.
ANyways, two books on the subject. One is from Dr. Shinders and the
other one is MCSE/MCSA from Rory McCaw and Kenneth Lind. You can find
them on Amazon for cheap if you dont mind the used books. I got the
Shinders book for 20 USD from abebook on amazon (pretty good service),
and the other book I forgot but it was like $8 or something. Now the
second book does have some errors in it though, especially the practice
tests at the end of each chapter. So if you plan on using the second
book, make sure you verify anything you deem doesn't sound right.

Hope this help. Good luck man. 291 is in a week or so for me. So cram
time.

Keep in touch,
Peter V Nguyen
