hello,
The SQL exam from the developer point of view, it is the 70-229, wich leads
you to work with database objects like, tables, views, stored procs,
triggers, to mention a few.
I used the MS Press book for 70-229 exam. In my personal opinion, is a very
good book.

Thanks,
For my exams I am actually in aprocess of this tough for MCSD.
$Back to SQL is there any good and well explain refernce book which cover
what a developper should know ?
It is clear that a developper does car about database administration but
lets say that if you know a bit the back door, you might know better how
to
retrive you data.
In a similar way if you do not know a minimum on Operation system security
you are not able to impleent properly security in your code.
What could be the exam to take for SQL server as a developper view ?
thnaks for your help
regards
serge

Well,
In first place, if you already passed those exams, congratulations,
HOWEVER...
In the real world, people store information in Databases and if you
learned
with those exams how to get access to datasources, it doesn't mean that
you
know how to work with databases.
If you're a developer is not enought just to know how to write code in
some
programming language. You must know at least one Database Management
system.
