Hi,
I am developing C# in VS 2005, so that's .NET 2.0.
So I think I need to sit the 'new generation', may be the MCTS:
..NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications (70-536 and 70-526)

Alan: Are you using C# version 1 (Visual Studio 2002 or 2003) or version
2
(Visual Studio 2005)?
If the former, take 70-315, 70-316, and/or 70-320.
If you are using the .NET Framework 2.0, then take the "new generation"
exams such as 70-526, 70-528, 70-529, 70-536, etc.
On these exams, at the beginning of the exam they ask you what language
you
want the code to be: Visual Basic, C#, or C++.
Unlike the older exams, there is not a different exam number for each
language.
If you use (or plan to use) both, then take the 70-3xx exams, then after
you
pass these you can take the upgrade exams and get certifications on both.
If you get your MCPD certification first, then there is no "upgrade" exams
for your MCAD/MCSD certification and you must take all 70-3xx exams
anyway.
By the way, the "older" exams do not have an expiration date, whereas the
newer exams expire after three years, so that is something to consider.

There are exams for C# and also for dot net.
I just confuse what exam should I take. I has been developing C#
application
for a while and wonder should I also take dot net exams or C# ones?
