You'll find a lot of the answers you need at www.microsoft.com/learning .
Passing any one exam gets you the MCP status. Since you're a developer you
will be more interested in MCAD than MCSE, which is for people who do
desktop support etc. MCSD requires all the exams that MCAD does and then
some more so you have to get MCAD before you can get MCSD.
