Hey thanks for the info. After looking into it more, I found that you dont
actually need to attend these classes... for some reason I thought 2 were
required. It seems I can just do self-study and do the tests and I'm
golden. I think I am going to go with these Amit books that Raja seems to
be raving about all over this newsgroup. Anybody used these other than Raja
or Raja's 5 other newsgroup names? =P. Seriously, they any good? I see
Amazon is rating it around 4 stars, so it cant be "that" bad...

I'm basically looking for a book that is much like a college programming
textbook.... you have assignments each day to program little things and you
learn stuff as you go. Are these books kind of like that? I think I learn
best that way. Let me know. Thanks!

Also, I signed up on TestKing which is like an interactive test site, as
this is what a friend who recently got his MCSD did. It lets me download
practice tests and do simulated tests online. It assures me its not a
"braindump" site, which I guess is where you get the actual quesitons
verbatim from the exams and memorize them.

Yay! Now I can take the MCSD tests AND afford to eat!
