Re: Templog.ldf growth on MessageBox..

Can you confirm that all of your BizTalk SQL Agent jobs are running
successfully? Do you have a Host flagged as the Tracking Host with a
Host Instance that is running?

Hello,

Recently we had an issue where our BizTalk installation stopped due to no
free disk space on MessageBox. Issue turned out to be templog.ldf file was
taking up almost all the space which we allocated for our MessageBox.

Did a shrink on the log file and it immediately freed around 60 GB worth of
space. BizTalk started and life seems to be ok, but in a day the same
templog.ldf file grew from around 1000 KB to 2GB. I think the same issue is
more than likely going to happen in the next 15 days or so..

Ran SQL profiler to figure out what was causing this growth but I am unable
to find any thing.

All the BizTalk jobs seem to be happy, the load is minimal on the BizTalk
application servers. The only other thing which I noticed was that the memory
being used on the messageBox servers was more than 4GB (we have a total of
4GB RAM) not sure if this would cause any issues.

Environment:
BizTalk 2006 Enterprise edition.
Windows 2003
Active Passive MessageBox cluster on SQL server 2000.
Two BizTalk app servers connected to the messageBox cluster.

Could someone please point me in the right direction on where to go from here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in Advance
