Hi Salam,
The answer is documented in the following link:
Source Control and the BizTalk Project System
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa547536.aspx
As the document stated, Team Systems is not FULLY supported. Basically, the
source control functionality of BizTalk 2006 has not been updated since
BizTalk 2004 except that BizTalk 2006 works with VS2005. So you can still
use the 2005 version VSS included in VS2005 to manage BizTalk 2006
projects. Team Systems can also be used but you cannot use any of its new
VS2005 functionality.
Hope this answered your question.
All the best to you in the new year!
Sincerely,
WenJun Zhang

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support
Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at:
