You are absolutely on the right track.
In your case, you could have different receive location each of them having
different adapters and pipelines, which will convert all incoming messages
to a common format and then use one orchestration that will process them in
a uniform way irrespective of where they came from.

Hi everyone,
I am not much aware of the functionalities and capabilities of biztalk
at the moment thats why posting my query here. We are in the field of
money remittance where we daily receive SAME kind of data but in
different formats from our business partners like flat file(txt)
format, excel *** format, xml data etc etc. Right now we have a
seperate application for each different format i.e. one for reading xml
format data, one for excel *** data etc. This way business is runnig
fine but application managability has become tougher.
I have read about Biztalk but never had a chance to work on it in a
practical enviroment. I think my compnay should use consider biztalk
for all the further development. As Biztalk is all about B2B and EAI
and since the kind of business the company is running in which they
just do nothing but receive data, manipulate it and forward it to some
other partner, this product will definitely be helpful in their
development enviroment . I have also read about Biztalk adapters which
includes SOAP, EXCEL FILE, SMTP and many more. The idea is to deploy
this server in a production enviroment and let all business partners
send their data in whatever format they want to send, Biztalk will take
care of that but I will have to configure those formats on biztalk and
also I will have to do all further implementation with respect to
Biztalk.
Can any one give me some guidance about my believes & thoughts . Many
thanks in advance.
Regards
.
