FTP location is randomly stopping

This is quite a question, I posted a few months back when using 2004.
The scenario is as following. Biztalk polling ftp (through internet)
getting files, so far nothing new. It is a fairly common so BTS must
deal with it. The bizarre thing here it is throwing warning from time
to time saying it is unable to connect. Okay, you could live up to
warnings if they sit tight as yellow signs in your event log. It got
even more annoying when the receive location is getting halted, it does
not polls anymore, files are there ... waiting to be picked up ! The
only thing reasonable to do is ... RESET the service.
Okay, you could depends on this with the promise it will be "cured"
within a service pack or something. We lasted a few with that version
since '06 was out.
We thought, the issue MUST be solved, this is a brand new product,
issues like this are in the past. I remember this guy (mcgeeky, i
believe) where he applied certain hotfix, I never got that one so I
waited for the problem solved in the next release.
Long story short, we were far from cool, the "bug" (I called bug
because it results with no apparent reason, it suddenly does that). So
I dare to ask once again,
Anybody know what is going on ? Have you faced (probably the sql
adapter is more likely to have that as in the past) a trouble like
herein described ?
I would appreciate if someone help me out to determine what is the
problem and try to reach a solution, this is a cool product but that
glitch is killing me.
Thanks in advance.
