Files on FTP server not getting picked up

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Greetings,

I know this question has been asked before-- and I have looked at all the
pointers I could find online, without success.

My BTS uses an FTP receive port that used to work like a charm, at least for
a few monthes. I actually have this setup on two separate machines, at two
distinct locations, each with their own FTP servers. A few days ago, they
both stopped picking up the files on the ftp directory.

I have checked and confirmed :
- that the BTS servers are still up;
- that the ftp receive ports are not disabled;
- that the event viewer shows no errors;
- that HAT shows no error, suspended orchs, or any other error;
- that the username has access to the files on the FTP;
- that the username is actually *owner* of the files on FTP (this is a UNIX
server, and I asked the server admin in 3 different ways to confirms this,
quite annoyed at me now lol);

Of course, I restarted the services, even rebooted the machine. I am sure
about SURE this is an access rights question, as it works like a charm if I
setup a new receive port towards another FTP server.

Anybody have any clue to what it can be or how I can prove to the admin that
somehow the access rights are wrong at the moment ? That would be immensely
appreciated (even if it turns out to be my fault, I swear !).

Here's parts of the BizTalk log file for the ftp receive port :
