Hi Mike,
Many thanks for your reply; sadly, despite another day on this, still can't
get BizTalk and JDE talking.
Did as you suggested and got latest copy of documentation from the link at
the top of the MS documentation
(http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=56392) but this looks the same as the
document on the Line of Busness Adapter CD: is this the documentation you
meant? (There is about three sides of info relating to JDE Enterprise One)
If not, please could you let me know where you found it (e.g. post a URL)...
Essentially our problem is that we can't seem to obtain any evidence of a
successful connecion to JDE Enterprise One (e.g. browsing JDE or extracting
schemas etc). We've followed the installation guide in the online
documentation but whenever we try to connect we get the error:
"I-JDE0042: Login failed:
com.jdedwards.system.connector.dynamic.ServerFailureException: Cannot
connect to any OneWorld Security Server.FAILURE:null"
(We're using JDE EnterpriseOne with the JDEEO BizTalk adapter so not sure
why we're getting a JDE OneWorld Security Server error...!)
followed by:
"E-JDE0027: Unable to acquire J.D.Edwards connection object. Please check
the settings of the port".
Now this second error may be as a result of the first or may be another clue
but nowhere in our documentation is there a complete example of a working
Transport Properties dialogue showing how to configure it correctly. As a
result, our configuration is shown below:
JDEdwards Transport Properties

Does this configuration match up with your working config?
Finally, is there anything specific that you had to do on your JDE server to
get the adapter/APIs working?
Many thanks,
Jonathan

Hi,.
Look at the latest Biztalk 2006 documentation. The team did a great job
rewriting the documentation.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Any chance of posting your working adapter config here?
I'm stuggling to get the adaptor working and getting similar errors and,
as
you point out, the documentation is either non-existent or very poor :(

Hi,
I was getting the following errors:
E-JNI0004: A Java exception occurred:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
at com.microsoft.jde.JDEDynAccess.Configure(JDEDynAccess.java:303)
E-JDE0063: Cannot override property values in config file
E-JDE0027: Unable to acquire J.D.Edwards connection object. Please check
the
settings of the port.
I was using JAVA SDK 1.3.1_15 . I installed JAVA SDK 1.5.0_06 and the
adapter is now working.
I don't think there are any notes in the Adapter documentation on the
JAVA
SDK that is required.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
Does anyone have a working send port using the EnterpriseOne adapter?
I
can't get it to work correctly. I'm getting an event log error of
event: E-JNI0004: A Java exception occurred:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
at com.microsoft.jde.JDEDynAccess.Configure(JDEDynAccess.java:303)
.
The documentation is sparse on creating the correct configuration.
Thanks,
Mike
