Re: BizTalk API through .NET?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I imagine there are a number of things I'd like to consider monitoring, but
one example might be automating the process of interigating a document of a
specific type in a suspended state (in the middle of the night), and
evaluating the document based on specific business rules to determine why
the docuement became suspended, and whether someone needed to address it
immediately or if it could wait.

I am all for using BizTalk's native functionality, but wanted to know at
what level I would be able to interegate BizTalk remotely. We're a bunch of
..NET heads trying to use BizTalk so the .NET option interests us.

Could you give a couple examples of the WMI events that BizTalk does raise
and/or a resource where I might find a comprehensive list or examples?

Thanks again.

Mark

What kinds of monitoring would you like to do?

You can listen for WMI events that BizTalk raises, if they cover the
scenarios you are after.

I'm a .NET developer and would like to monitor specific processes on our
BizTalk servers through a custom client application without logging into
the actual BizTalk server. We have BizTalk 2004 and 2006. Is this
possible? Are there examples on the web?

Thanks in advance.

Mark
