Thanks for the reply Billa. I have checked for the FTP mode and that
was not my problem as both by server and the BizTalk transfer are using
the same mode.

The problem was with the file name. OS/400 has a lot more restrictions
on file names than windows and I was not aware of those. The file name
that I was trying to transfer was not acceptable to the OS/400 and the
real problem was that the FTP server or BizTalk FTP adapter were not
giving me the correct error. I was just getting a general error :(
