FTP Adapter keeping sessions open on HPUX

Greetings,

BT Server 2004, Service Pack 1 (according to control panel, add/remove
programs).

My BT orchestration is sending an XML file via FTP to an HPUX box.

I have access to 2 different HPUX servers which appear to be same OS level
(uname -a returns same response).

On both servers, the file is transferred nicely.

On one server, BT fails to issue a "quit" command. This keeps the session
open on the unix box.

Has anyone seen this before and do you know why this is happening?

I found a potential explanation on msdn, but that appears to be tied to BT
2004 without SP1 which we apparently have installed.

TIA and regards,
