can this be done

I would like to find out if this is possible and if so if someone can point
me to some examples, etc.
I have a batch program written in C#, that reads a text file, does some
validation on the fields in the text file.
As of now we have about 20 seperate batch files that do this on different
text files.
So my question is, is it possible to have Biztalk read the text file,
validate the fields in the text files, do some calculations, then generate 2
files an error log and an output file that has total of records processed.
is this possible for biztalk or no, if so can someone point me to some
examples, tuturials, etc.
thx
