Call MS back, but take the options for 'licensing' rather than 'support'.
Suggest to the person you speak to that you have a licensing problem.
If all else fails disable the License Logging Service until such time as MS
are willing to 'fix' the problem.

Hi all,
Previous boss has a W2K SBS, plus 2 x 5 CAL packs.
Striped HDD failed, lost raid controller.
Installed new HDD on Pimary IDE controller.
None of the restore attempts have worked (using ERD, tape disaster
recovery
etc)
I re-installed w2K SBS from scratch but when trying to install the CALs, I
get a message stating the installer could notfind the MAC address. Note
that
the onlydifference to the hardware is the onboard raid is disabled and
removed the SCSI card for the tape drive (no longer used)
Is this an experience that any-one else has had?
I contacted support and they want to charge $390 for something that should
just work.
Advice appreciated.
Cheers all.
