Hi Joe,
I believe your issue is rlated to how ISA 2000 has been set up. Take a
look at this thread: (especially the last three posts)
Why doesn't Firewall Client configure IE proxy settings

I think I originally had the sbs2k server setup as the proxy for the
network for caching reasons, etc. Our traffic to the internet now goes
straight out through a hardware firewall.
The issue is, when setting up a new user and a number of other tasks, IE
auto defaults to using the sbs and port 8080 for a proxy. Then the users
are not able to get to the internet. I have to walk them through the
steps of going to tools>options>connections> uncheck use a proxy...
Where on the sbs can I go to change this default client assignment? I
check DHCP thinking it might be in there, but didn't see anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a million!
Joe.
